I spent the morning on the water with Vasco, he is so passionate about foiling and coaching. A truly amazing foiling expirience I went with my father just the other day and had a truly great experience me aged 13 and my father aged 42 were both able to get up on the foil with the help of our amazing teacher Vasco, we were both up and foiling withing 1 hour. I had a wonderful efoiling experience with Vasco at Currumbin Creek! I learned a lot and was able to achieve standing up and some beginner foiling thanks to his pristine instruction. I'd give eFoilGC six stars if I could. I went with my three boys (8, 9, 11) and we tried out the full range of watercraft that Vasco runs. We all had a great time and found his teaching style really encouraging and constructive which helped us so much. He also has in-helmet mics so he can coach you as you go which is a bigger benefit than you might realise. No one shouting instructions, just a super positive guy with suggested tweaks to techniques. Vasco has a great vibe about him and he quickly got me and the kids laughing, confident and tackling it all. I couldn't recommend this more. What a great morning! Vasco is a very experienced coach, simple to understand and patient. The training on land at the start of the lesson was a great opener for a very different experience. I’ve done a lot of activities on the Gold Coast, but nothing compares to the feeling of "flying" over the water. A huge shoutout to the owner, Vasco. He is such a legend! I was a bit nervous about whether I’d actually be able to stand up or if I'd just spend the whole time falling in, but Vasco’s vibe is so encouraging and chill that he had me up and foiling way sooner than I expected. He’s clearly an expert, but he explains things in a way that just clicks. It is honestly pure fun. There’s no engine noise, just you gliding over the waves. It’s one of those "must-do" experiences that you’ll be talking about for weeks after. If you’re on the fence about booking a lesson or a rental—just do it. Vasco had me on me on my feet in about 15 minutes and from there just foiling the creek for the rest of the session. Such a fun experience! Vasco was a brilliant teacher. As a complete beginner, I was comfortably standing up and getting (kind of!) used to turning by the end of my initial lesson. All down to the great teachings of Vasco! E-foiling is great fun, Vasco's equipment is brilliant (being able to talk to me remotely whilst I was on the water was so helpful) and the pictures he took were superb. Give it a go! I come from a background of wing foiling and it turns out my stance is completely wrong, I think applying some of what I learnt today will improve my wing foiling immensely! A fabulous experience. Vasco has an amazing set up enabling him to communicate with you through helmet mounted head sets. As you practice he provides real-time  expert advice on body placement and foot movement. A highly recommended experience that's excellent value for money.

If you're learning to foil in any form, please have an efoil lesson with Vasco... You will not regret it. I've been learning to SUP foil for a while independently, however I couldn't quite manage learning all the elements at once. Vasco simplified being in control up on foil into simple steps, and I'm feeling much better about my progression. And it was incredibly fun... Experiencing efoiling was something I’d been wanting to try for years. Vasco was a clear communicator who made the lesson easy to understand and really enjoyable. He personalised it to me and my previous experiences in and out of the water. A true professional and something I’d highly recommend to anyone who has thought of getting involved. As a 65yo I was a bit nervous before starting. Vasco’s instructions and explanation about efoiling were very good. It was great having his instructions coming through the helmet he supplied. He had me up on the board by the end of the session, as he said he would. I’ll be back in a few weeks for another lesson. The first thing you should do if you want to learn to foil is to have a lesson with eFoilgc He is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and has all the best gear. Vasco was an amazing teacher. Our 12-year old was up and gliding the foil in the air doing smooth turns 6o-minutes into the 90-minute lesson. The rest was pure fun and our son can’t stop raving about how great his lesson and e-foiling was. The Best eFoil Instruction and Experience I found that Vasco is an excellent instructor for efoiling. Listen carefully to what he says, relax and he will have you efoiling before you believe possible. (I foiled for brief periods on the first lesson and for much longer periods on the second lesson.) Vasco is unique in that not only is he a very accomplished and experienced efoiler (and indeed expert in many other related board sports) he also has a genius for instruction. That is, Vasco has an ability to distil the information a student needs at different points in the learning process while keeping the whole experience fun.  I highly recommend Vasco and efoilgc.com! Great eFoiling experience I recently had an eFoiling lesson with Vasco at eFoilGC, and it was an incredible experience! The equipment was excellent—everything was in perfect condition, which really enhanced the overall experience. The duration of the lesson was ideal. There was more than enough time to learn the basics, enjoy the session, and leave feeling like I got the most out of the experience (and a good workout too). One of the standout aspects was Vasco’s methodology. He was able to communicate with me throughout the lesson via a radio system, offering real-time tips and adjustments, which made learning so much easier and more enjoyable. As an added bonus, Vasco took some fantastic photos during the session, which were a great way to relive the experience and share it with friends and family. I took my 12 year old son to efoilgc for a lesson .he had soooo much fun ,they got him up and riding around on foil first lesson amazing. The coaching technique they use is first class Has a helmet where he talks directly to the student and tells him the corrections he needed to do with his body while on the foil next to him It is so impressive. Had a great session with Vasco. My only regret is I found out about eFoilGC on the last day of my stay. I would have gone more. The experience was so much fun! If you are in the Currumbin area GO do this. Can only comment for myself: terrible at balance, but I got foil. As a newby, wetsuit is a must = amount of water time as board time. Session went so quick. Surprisingly exhausting, so do it early in your stay. Go early in the morning. Maybe give yourself a day between sessions. I got foil…and fell off with the shock of the sensation :-). Surprisingly easy to do. Another session and I would have been mostly on the foil and with confidence in controlling the board. And if you are already competent at foiling call Vasco to get onto the waves… now that is my end goal.

Vasco is the best! Took me for my first ever efoil (never foiled either) and got me up and foiling within 20 minutes. Exceptional knowledge on the sport and his teaching was specific to me, my skills and learning style. I highly recommend a lesson to experience the joy of floating above the water in complete safety with Vasco either beside you on a board or in your ear with the headset.
